Syracuse fades late in loss at Pittsburgh, 64-53 (full coverage)

Things just keep getting worse for the Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team.

Syracuse dropped to (9-11 overall, 3-6 ACC) with a 64-53 loss to the Pittsburgh Panthers (7-12 overall, 2-6 ACC) Thursday night at Petersen Events Center. It’s the first time the Orange have been two games under .500 this late in a season in Jim Boeheim’s 46-year coaching tenure.

Buddy Boeheim led Syracuse in scoring with 25 points.
