Research at an Israeli hospital shows that people given Pfizer and people given Moderna both had an increase in antibodies. The increased level of antibodies wasn’t enough to stop the spread of the newest variant. Read more on the study here.

The 4th vaccine dose offers only  partial defense against the virus,” according to Dr. Gili Regev-Yochay, director of the hospital’s infection disease unit.

The COVID-19 vaccine was more effective against previous strains than it is against Omicron.
