New COVID-19 guidelines for child care centers emerge amidst chronic staffing shortages, reports WHEC.
Staff and volunteers who test positive for the virus are directed to isolate for five days. They are permitted to come back to work following this period if symptoms do not persist, and they must wear a mask.
For centers with no staffing shortages, the 10-day isolation period is still in effect.
