In just a couple of days the final Golden State Stimulus II checks will be sent to California recipients.
Those waiting for their final checks can expect them to be sent by Jan. 11, 2022.
Over 180,000 checks are being sent in the last batch, worth up to $1,100 each.
These checks are designed to help with those negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The payments started in Oct. 2021 and will continue through the 11th.
Checks are sent based on zip code.
This last round started Dec. 27, 2022 and zip codes receiving checks end with 928-999.
Checks could take up to 3 weeks to arrive from the day they’re sent.

Who can get the stimulus checks?
In order to qualify, you must have an AGI of $1 to $75,000.
Included as income is rental payments, property sales, retirement income and tips or interest.
Social Security as the only source of income will not qualify.
Your taxes for 2020 needed to be filed by Oct. 15 to qualify.
Most people should have received direct deposits and checks by now, but the last day checks will be sent is Jan. 11.

Do I still get the check if I owe money?
You still get the Golden State Stimulus II checks if you owe money, they are not going to be taken for debt.
There are some cases where they will be taken.
This includes owed child support, spousal support, family support, or restitution owed to victims.
