Forwards Jeff Skinner and Vinnie Hinostroza will be back in the lineup for the Sabres when they visit the Boston Bruins Saturday afternoon to conclude a two-game road trip.
Skinner and Hinostroza both entered the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol prior to the holiday break and were asymptomatic. They joined the team for practice in Boston on Friday.
The Sabres sent forwards JJ Peterka and Arttu Ruotsalainen back to Rochester to make room for Skinner and Hinostroza. Defenseman Oksarki Laaksonen and forward Brandon Biro were returned to the AHL as well off the taxi squad.
