TSA agents reportedly found a loaded gun in the carry-on baggage of a Geneva man as he tried to board a flight Tuesday at the Corning-Elmira Regional Airport.
News 10 NBC reports a 9mm handgun was confiscated after gate agents called police to the scene. Passengers may legally fly with firearms only if they are in a locked case and packed seperately from ammunition.
The man, whose name has not been released, could face federal financial penalties.
