Canandaigua PD blotter: Several arrests made in recent days

On December 20, 2021 at 2:55 pm, Kevin D. Cave, 28, of Canandaigua was arrested on a Bench Warrant for violating the conditions of his release. Pursuant to the investigation, it was determined that Cave did not meet the conditions of his release that were set forth by the City of Canandaigua Drug Court. Cave was subsequently arrested and turned over to the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment.

On December 6, 2021 at 7:30 am, Jonathan Bermon, 60, of Stanley, NY was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child after Officers responded to a disturbance call at a business on West Ave. Pursuant to the investigation, it was determined that Bermon did engage in a physical altercation with another person while in the presence of a child under the age of 17 years old. Bermon was subsequently arrested and turned over to the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment.

On December 6, 2021 at 7:30 am, Matthew Bermon, 37, of Stanley, NY was arrested for Endangering the Welfare of a Child after Officers responded to a disturbance call at a business on West Ave. Pursuant to the investigation, it was determined that Bermon did engage in a physical altercation with another person while in the presence of a child under the age of 17 years old. Bermon was subsequently arrested and turned over to the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment.

On December 2, 2021 at 7:30 pm, Matthew S. Bermon, 37, of Stanley, NY was arrested for Petit larceny after Officers responded to a disturbance at residence on Chapin Street. Pursuant to the investigation, it was determined that Bermon did remove property from the residence that did not belong to him. Bermon was subsequently arrested and released on an appearance ticket to appear in the City of Canandaigua Court at a later date.

On November 24, 2021 at 2:31 am, Samantha J. Schuster, 33, of Canandaigua, NY was arrested for Criminal Contempt in the second degree while Officers were investigating a missing person at a West Gibson Street residence. Pursuant to the investigation, it was determined that Schuster had contact with another person, who was also protected by a court ordered “stay away” order of protection. Schuster was subsequently arrested and turned over to the Ontario County Jail pending arraignment.
