There are specific details needed to claim the cash, including when you filed for unemployment and how long you were on it.

You must have have a job to make the claim.
In order to claim the money, you must submit the Back to Work CT application electronically.
Applicants may be contacted to verify details and prove they’ve completed 8 weeks of employment.
In order to qualify, you need to have submitted an unemployment claim for the week of May 23-29, 2021.

You also needed to file a weekly claim with the state for 11 more weeks between Dec. 27, 2020 and May 22, 2021.
You need to obtain and keep a full time job for 8 straight weeks between May 30 and Dec. 31, 2021.
You can not have filed an application for unemployment during those 8 weeks.
