Between now and New Year’s Eve, 900,000 stimulus checks worth up to $1,100 are set to be sent out.
California has estimated that around 9 million residents are eligible for one of their Golden State Stimulus II checks.
The last round started Dec. 10 with direct deposits and will be worth $575 million when all payments are sent.

The payments started in Oct. and will continue through Jan. 11, 2022.
Payments are going out every two weeks in batches based on zip codes.
Between Dec. 27 and Jan. 11 checks delivered to zip codes ending in 928-999 will go out.

Who is getting a Golden State Stimulus II check?
This is round II, which is in addition to the Golden State Stimulus I package.
People that received round I checks filed their 2020 taxes and made less than $75,000.
Those checks were worth $600 and $1,200.
This round is worth $600 and $1,100.
To qualify for these checks, you need to have filed your 2020 taxes by Oct. 15, made between $1 and $75,000 in 2020, lived in California for over half of 2020, and still live there when the payments are issued.
