Could Andrew Cuomo run for New York State Attorney General?
It’s possible. He previously had the job between 2007 and 2011.
He then went on to become governor, which was the office Cuomo held until resigning in August amid sexual misconduct allegations.
The former governor has since been accused of a misdemeanor sex crime, and could face criminal charges.
However, investigations remain active at this point.
If Cuomo were to run, he would have $18 million at his disposal for campaigning. There have been several reports over the last week indicating that the former governor is at least thinking about a run for another statewide office.
