The Victor/Pittsford Blue Devils boys volleyball season came to an end on Wednesday night. The second seeded Blue Devil squad faced off against top seeded Penfield for the Class A crown in Section V. Penfield took the title in straight sets against Victor/Pittsford 3-0. The Blue Devils didn’t go down without a fight, hanging tough in each set, dropping the first set 25-19, and the second set 25-18. Victor/Pittsford battled hard in the third set, even holding the lead at 15-14, however it wasn’t meant to be in the end as they fell 25-23.
The Blue Devils will finish the season with a record of 12-4, and will look to keep up the momentum built from this season going in 2022 as seven players will look to return come next fall.
