A standoff that lasted hours in Onondaga County ended peacefully and without criminal charges.
Deputies say they were called to a home in the area of Rockland Drive and Taft Road in Clay after a suspicious incident complaint around 8:30 p.m. on Monday.
When they arrived – they spotted a person with what was believed to be a firearm. He was on a porch.
Everyone inside the home exited when deputies asked, except the man holding a gun.
Around 3 a.m. on Tuesday the incident was resolved.
Deputies said no charges were filed, but the investigation remains active.
