Some Americans are owed stimulus checks worth up to $1,100 as soon as this week, are you one of them?
These payments are part of the Golden State Stimulus II package in California and the second round is set to hit bank accounts this week.
Many of the checks are worth $600 and those with dependents get an additional $500.
750,000 are being sent out beginning Monday and it could take three weeks to get them.
4.5 million checks have been sent so far for the Golden State Stimulus plan for California residents.
$857 million in total has been distributed and will be direct deposited or sent by paper check. The way you get them depends on how you filed your taxes.
The direct deposits began being issued Oct. 29 and checks will go out starting Nov. 1.
To qualify, you must have filed your taxes by Oct. 15 of 2021, have an AGI in California of under $75,000 for 2020, be a resident of California for more than half of the 2020 tax year and be a resident of California on the payment date.
