Geneva Boys and Girls Club raises over $200,000 in donations for 25th anniversary

The Boys and Girls Club in Geneva reached its fundraising goal and doubled the amount in celebration of its 25th anniversary.

$80,000 was raised by donors, resulting in a $40,000 donation from the Emerson Foundation of Auburn.

Dave and Brenda Rickey of Poway California donated $50,000, and Rob and Pam Sands and the Sands Family Foundation contributed $20,000 to help the funds go over $200,000.

The original goal was $100,000.
