Anyone that qualifies for the booster vaccine may now schedule an appointment for the shot at their local Wegmans.
The appointments need to be made online.
Shots are free.
Wegmans Pharmacy asks that people scheduled for the booster bring their vaccine card or proof of vaccine to the appointment.
Proof of eligibility is not required but people must attest that they’re eligible.
Eligibility requirements include the individual having the Pfizer vaccine, the last dose being at least 6 months prior to the date of the booster shot, being 65 or older, a resident in a long term care setting, being ages 50 to 64 with qualifying underlying medical conditions, being ages 18 to 49 with qualifying underlying health conditions based on their own benefits and risks, or being ages 18 to 64 at a higher risk of exposure due to an occupational or institutional setting.
