A 19-year-old woman was rescued by forest rangers after suffering a serious medical emergency.
The Beaver Dams woman was reported missing around 9 a.m. on September 1 in Schuyler County.
Schuyler County 911 received the report and New York Forest Rangers began a search.
They interviewed the woman’s mother and began a search along commonly traveled trails.
Two deputies and the ranger used cell phone data to pinpoint the location of the woman- who was found around 1 p.m.
The required immediate medical attention, according to officials, who did not provide any further update on her condition.
She was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
