Democrat Francis Conole will run for Congress in NY-24 again

A familiar face has re-entered the race for Congress in the 24th District. Francis Conole is making a second run for the seat currently held by Rep. John Katko, according to a Facebook video he posted to the platform this week.

In his announcement video, which was shot in front of the home his mother grew up in, Conole discussed the lack of investment and neglect communities have faced.

Conole and Roger Misso, another veteran who ran last time around, lost to Democrat Dana Balter. She was unsuccessful in her bids to unseat Katko.

John Murtari recently filed paperwork to challenge Katko in a Republican primary.
