Jason Mraz will be performing Friday night at CMAC with a reggae band, including many of the members featured on his latest up beat reggae album “Look For The Good.”
Mraz liked the idea of Reggae and always wanted to create an album because the genre is about revolution. With the way things have been he thought it was a great way to express his feelings.
Mraz first gained attention singing in coffeehouses in San Diego and soon created successful albums for years to come, always positive and upbeat.
Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Mraz now farms in San Diego when not performing or creating a new album, and is involved in social justice issues.
Revenue from his latest album will be donated to agencies that work to fight social justice issues.
The concert starts at 8 p.m. with gates opening at 6:30 p.m.
