Horseheads Central School District will stick to state mandated guidelines to keep from having to go remote this year

Horseheads Central School District will be returning to school in person this year and follow all guidelines in order to not have to return to remote learning.

Social distancing and asks will be utilized to help avoid quarantines and illness, and the bugs are still being worked out for classes like phys ed and music.

The cafeteria will have masks worn when entering, unmasking to eat, and a three foot distance between students.

Superintendent, Dr. Tom Douglas, is happy with how Kathy Hochul is handling the return to school and hopes she will have more information released by Friday so districts can better communicate with parents.
