Ontario County Sheriff Kevin Henderson has announced an upcoming civil service exam in an attempt to recruit new deputies.

The exam is September 18 and the deadline to sign up is August 27.

Officers hired from the exam will be in the Finger Lakes Law Enforcement Academy in February 2022.
