Last year Wegmans was forced to close down their food bars due to the pandemic, and now they are attempting to bring them back.
While it appeared they would not be returning a few months ago, the rules being relaxed for self-serve buffets has changed that.
As long as an employee is overseeing a self-serve hot food bar, they are allowed to be used.
A Wegmans in the Rochester area reopened their hot bar last week, and other Wegmans are likely to follow suit in the upcoming weeks.
