Deputies say a Geneva man faces new charges after an incident at the Ontario County Jail.
Matthew Jackson, 37, of Geneva was charged with second-degree assault, a Class D felony, after causing physical injury to another inmate at the jail.
Jackson was arraigned and committed without bail.
He will answer the charges at a later date in local court.
