The Branchport man accused of killing his mother will face a trial this fall.
Paul Khouzam, who will go on trial in October for the murder of 67-year-old Dr. Magda Daoud, is accused of stabbing her repeatedly with a knife after breaking into her home.
She was found unconscious by authorities in the basement of her home.
He’s been charged with second-degree murder, aggravated cruelty to animals, burglary, and criminal possession of a weapon.
The trial was initially delayed before the pandemic began.
