New York State Police in Waterloo are seeking the public’s help as they investigate a suspicious incident which occurred in the Town of Junius.
It was reported to Troopers that an older heavyset white male, approached an Amish buggy occupied by several children in the area of Dublin Road and attempted to lure the children into his vehicle by offering to give them a ride.
Troopers say the unknown male was reportedly operating an older model dark Chevrolet Impala or Malibu with round taillights. They say he fled the scene after realizing there was also an adult in the buggy.
