The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Macedon man after responding to a noise complaint in the town of Lyons over the weekend.
Deputies say Willie Fred Currington III, 20, of Macedon was arrested for obstruction of government administration, and two counts of disorderly conduct.
Deputies responded to Jackson Street for the report of people screaming and fighting. Upon arrival they located a disturbance in progress between neighbors.
Currington was highly intoxicated, screaming obscenities, threats, and attempting to initiate a physical altercation. He continued that behavior while deputies were on scene, and was ultimately arrested.
Deputies say Currington was processed and released on appearance tickets. The charges will be answered at a later date.
