Deputies say a Sodus man was arrested on an assault charge after an incident in the town of Ontario.
Kevin Woods, 56, was charged with assault after allegedly punching another person in the face.
Woods was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and was held at the Wayne County Jail pending arraignment.
Deputies say an order of protection was requested by the victim.
He’s set to appear in Town of Ontario Court at a later date for additional proceedings.
