Police: Seneca Falls woman violates court order, resists arrest

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a 38-year-old resident following an investigation into an order of protection.

Police responded to a residence on Van Rensselaer Street for a court order violation.

As police attempted to take Alisha Simmons, a Seneca Falls resident into custody – she resisted arrest.

She was ultimately charged with second-degree criminal contempt, resisting arrest, and obstruction of governmental administration.

Simmons was released on an appearance ticket.
