County officials have hired a materials testing firm and a cleaning company to assess and clean the building. Testing and cleaning will start on Thursday and continue through the weekend. The building is expected to reopen by Wednesday, June 5, after thorough cleaning and air quality testing.

During the closure, county departments are working remotely. Residents needing services from the Department of Social Services can call 315-255-6272 for assistance. Updates will be provided as needed.
