After an array of issues as new guidelines for unemployment rolled out — while the Novel Coronavirus crisis reached new highs — the state stepped in to make the system better.
On Monday, the system spent a large portion of the day down. It’s website was not functional, which left residents frustrated. By Tuesday, improvements had been announced; and by Thursday a new system was fully-implemented.
The system is based on what your last name starts with. Those whose names begin with the letters ‘A’ through ‘F’ file on Monday. Meanwhile, ‘G’ through ’N’ will file on Tuesday. The remaining residents will file on Wednesday.
For those who missed a day earlier in the week — Thursday and Friday will serve as overflow dates.
