Skaneateles moves closer to seeing new 88-room hotel project approved

It was a packed house on Tuesday as the Skaneateles Planning Board met to talk about a proposed hotel.

Neighbors learned more about the Woodbine Hospitality Group’s proposed project, which would bring an ew 88-room hotel to the village.

The hotel would be located along Old Seneca Turnpike, near the Hill-Rom. That’s the former Welch Allyn site.

CNYCentral reports that the Planning Board voted 2-1 that based on everything that has been presented, there will be no significant environmental impact.

A traffic study is holding up the project at this point.
