First responders are investigating the cause of a serious crash along State Route 5 in the town of Sennett.
It was reported around 6 a.m., and shortly thereafter, the roadway was closed to westbound traffic for approximately 30 minutes.
Photos from the scene show a tractor, which was reportedly struck by another vehicle according to witnesses.
The road was closed between Chestnut Ridge and County House roads.
It’s unclear what led to the crash, or if there were any injuries.
