A mansion in Auburn has been sold.
It’s located on South Street, and isn’t the one that recently went viral due to it’s low price and high volume of bids.
However, the South Street home is one that holds a lot of significance for the city’s history.
The Auburn Citizen reports that 67 South Main Street, which once served as the home for Auburn Correctional Facility’s wardens, has sold. They report that the mansion was sold to Brian Wheat.
He’s a bass player for the group Tesla.
The home sold for $550,000, which is approximately $50,000 under full-value, according to The Citizen’s check of property values in Cayuga.
