Deputies: Canandaigua man charged with DWI after traffic stop

A Canandaigua driver is facing numerous charges after a bystander report to law enforcement.

Deputies say that Carmel Aruck Jr., 47, of Canandaigua was charged with driving while intoxicated following the report of a sick or intoxicated driver.

He was traveling south on State Route 332, according to deputies, who said that callers stated his 2014 GMC pickup truck was ‘all over the road’.

Deputies eventually stopped Aruck on Route 332 north of the city of Canandaigua.

In addition Aruck was also charged with moving from lane unsafely, and driving with a BAC over 0.08%.

He was issued traffic citations and will answer the charges at a later date.
