Seneca Falls man charged with attempted assault after imprisoning woman during domestic

Police report the arrest of a Seneca Falls man on unlawful imprisonment and attempted assault charges following a domestic incident on November 26th.

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of 32-year-old Derek Stamp. He was charged with attempted assault, unlawful imprisonment, and harassment following the incident.

Police say Stamp is accused of subjecting a woman to unwanted physical contact. He then prevented the woman from leaving, which resulted in physical injury.

Stamp was processed and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility pending arraignment.
