Rochester City School District Superintendent Terry Dade has named Lynda Quick as the district’s deputy superintendent.
Quick will start in the position in January.
Last week, the district’s two deputy superintendents were dismissed. A statement from the district said the positions will be consolidated into one role as part of restructuring, and that Quick will be in charge of overseeing operations, administration and learning in the district.
Quick currently serves as the superintendent for the Skaneateles Central School District. She has previously served with the Cattaraugus-Allegany-Erie-Wyoming BOCES superintendent.
