While there wasn’t a lot of change in the results from Election Day in Seneca County – the three-way race for District Attorney has an outcome.

Acting District Attorney mark Sinkiewicz, the Democrat, has won, according to Election Commissioner Carl Same. He defeated Republican John Nabinger, and Working Families candidate Christopher Folk.

Sinkiewicz held a 91-vote lead over Nabinger heading into absentee counts.

He confirmed that information via email Monday afternoon, noting that absentee ballots would officially be counted at 3 p.m.
