Del Lago Resort & Casino announced on Thursday that it has received top honors at the 2019 Rochester Business Journal and The Daily Record Reader Rankings Awards.
For the third year in a row, the resort and casino was named the Best Casino in the region. Del Lago Resort & Casino also received honors as one of the area’s top three in the Best Event Meeting Facility and Best Hotel categories. The annual awards honor the top businesses in the community as voted on by readers.
“The awards celebrate the best of the best and we are grateful to have received top honors as the region’s premier casino for the third year in a row,” said del Lago Resort & Casino Executive Vice President and General Manager Lance Young. “We continually strive to provide our guests with the best experience, and we look forward to offering them even more with the opening of DraftKings Sportsbook at del Lago later this summer.”
This award comes at an exciting time for del Lago Resort & Casino as the construction of DraftKings Sportsbook at del Lago is underway. Del Lago Resort & Casino plans to open the highly anticipated 6,000-square-foot state-of-the-art sportsbook later this summer. The luxurious sportsbook will boast a restaurant and bar, with seating for nearly 200 people. Guests can enjoy watching games on high-definition LED terminals or on the nearly floor-to-ceiling, state-of-the-art video display walls.
The awards were given at the Rochester Business Journal and The Daily Record’s annual Reader Rankings Awards Ceremony at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. This year there were more than 13,000 nominations and more than 47,000 votes were cast.
