Alex Rideout denied parole in connection to father’s murder

Alex Rideout, who was convicted of tampering with evidence in the murder of his father Craig Rideout, was denied parole after his parole hearing on June 11.

According to the New York State Department of Correction Parole Board Calendar website, Alex’s parole was “not granted.”

He was found guilty of tampering with evidence and received one and one-third year to four years in prison.

His older brother Colin Rideout and his mother Laura Rideout were convicted of the same tampering charge and second-degree murder. Laura was also convicted of second-degree burglary.
