Woman accused of strangling boyfriend after throwing dirty diapers at him

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Sodus woman following an investigation into a domestic incident that occurred in the village on Saturday.

Deputies arrested Tracy L. Aunkst, 27, of Sodus around 6:16 a.m. after she was involved in a domestic incident with her boyfriend.

She’s accused of strangling her boyfriend in front of their two year old daughter after arguing and throwing dirty diapers at him.

The daughter was uninjured in the incident.

Aunkst was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.

She was transported to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment. The charges will be answered at a later date.
