The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of an Ovid man on drug-related charges following an investigation into the larceny of prescription medications.
Steven C. Mayo, 40, of Ovid was taken into custody by the Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit following an investigation into the larceny of prescription medications from a local business.
He’s accused of stealing a controlled substance – identified as morphine from a local business on March 26th.
Mayo was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He was arraigned and will reappear at a later date to answer the charge.
