del Lago Resort & Casino will host the Finger Lakes Home & Lifestyle Show, Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is $10 for adults and children 16 and under are free. One dollar from each admission ticket sold will be donated to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
The event will feature nearly 100 quality home improvement and lifestyle vendors, offering expert advice to homeowners for spring and summer projects as well as specialty artisan and product offerings to decorate or enhance the quality of living.
The “Time Machine” DeLorean from the Back to the Future movies will be on hand, complete with all the gizmos and features that make the vehicle so unique. A “Marty McFly” Michael J. Fox look-a-like will interact with guests asking trivia questions from the movie and taking photographs with attendees. Marty’s look-a-like girlfriend, Jennifer Parker will also be on hand as they arrive at the home and lifestyle show in the DeLorean straight from 1985.
HGTV host Jim Parks, who has starred in more than 100 episodes of “New Spaces” home improvement show, will serve as MC at the event and will conduct seminars on a variety of topics such as green living, renovating an older home and choosing a contractor.
Other attractions include food trucks, wine slushie bus, a roving caricature artist, a magician and more.
