More than 100 Perkins School students, parents and other family members had fun playing a lot of great games at the PTA Family Game Night January 24th.
PTA president Katie Coons said there were at least 30 different games to choose from on the tables in the school cafeteria that kids and their families played together.
Part of family-engagement efforts by the Perkins PTA, Family Game Night is geared each year toward giving students yet another opportunity to have an enjoyable evening out at school with their parents, siblings and others.
“We like this event because parents come and interact with their children in a fun setting,’‘ Coons said.
At the beginning of Family Game Night, students were given tickets to enter a raffle and by the end of the two- hour event, 28 brand new games were given to children to take home and enjoy.
