Deputies say two Seneca County men were arrested on felony charges after causing $51,000 worth of damage to an elevator at the del Lago Resort & Casino, and threatening security officers during a November incident.
Christopher Freeman, 31, of State Route 318 was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, and third-degree burglary, both felonies, as well as five counts of manacing after an incident that took place in November 2018.
Freeman’s brother, Terrance, who was also involved in the incident – was arrested on November 25th, 2018. However, through investigation it was determined that Christopher Freeman had been banned from the property in May.
During the November 25th incident, the duo caused $51,000 worth of damage to an elevator, which had become stuck. After being confronted by security – those officers were threatened by the duo.
Deputies say that because Freeman had been banned from the property – the felony burglary charge was filed.
Additional court action is expected, but was not identified in a release from deputies.
