Karen Halstead Gaudio, 70 of Waterloo, NY passed away Monday September 7, 2026, at home. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday (September 21) at the Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. A private graveside service will be at Maple Grove Cemetery.
She was born November 22, 1955 in Geneva, NY and was a daughter of the late Riley Gene Halstead and Beverly (Smith) Pine. She went to Waterloo Central High School. Karen was a homemaker.
She is survived by her companion, Rick Marciano; Three daughters, Tanya McLaughlin of Waterloo NY, Heidi Butler of Scranton, PA, and Stacey (David) Reed of Elmira, NY and a son Michael (Leslie) Gaudio of Jacksonville, FL; her siblings, Patricia (Gary) Lyman of Canandaigua, NY, Deborah (Don) Derleth of Geneva, NY, Timothy (Mariah) Halstead of Clarksville TN, Carolyn Shaver of Dundee, NY, and Clinton (Bev) Halstead of Paris Ontario, Canada; 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
