Brown's support includes hospital visits and Honor Flight

Brown's connection to military service includes his brother Garrett, who joined the Marine Corps after high school and served for four years in Hawaii. Brown said his brother's experience helped shape his support for service members, the team reported.

Since arriving in Buffalo in 2021, Brown has taken part in several efforts involving veterans. In 2024, he joined Buffalo Niagara Honor Flight on a trip to Washington, where veterans visited military memorials.

He supported Mission 22 through the NFL's My Cause My Cleats initiative in 2022 and 2025. The organization works to prevent veteran suicide and supports veterans, active military members and their families.

On Veterans Day in 2025, Brown visited the Buffalo VA Hospital, brought Bills gear and met with veterans and staff, according to the team.

Fan voting continues through Nov. 30

The award is presented by USAA. Voting is available at NFL.com/SaluteFanVote until 11:59 p.m. Eastern on Nov. 30, with fans allowed one vote per nominee each day.
