Syracuse will host Clemson at noon Saturday, Nov. 7, at the JMA Wireless Dome, with ESPN2 carrying the ACC football matchup.
The Orange enter their Homecoming game on a two-game winning streak after a late touchdown drive beat then-No. 19 SMU, according to Syracuse's game-week preview.
Fran Brown previews the Clemson matchup
Brown praised Clemson coach Dabo Swinney and the talent the Tigers bring to Syracuse, describing a team whose close games could have produced a much different record.
Quarterback Steve Angeli has completed 23 of 31 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns in the fourth quarter and overtime across Syracuse's past two games. Brown attributed his late-game performance to growing comfort and confidence following injury and surgery.
Brown also credited the combined work of the coaching staff, players, office staff, equipment staff and student managers during the team's winning stretch.
Syracuse seeks another win in the series
Saturday will be the 14th meeting between the programs. Syracuse won last year's matchup 34-21 for its first road victory over Clemson.
Angeli completed 18 of 31 passes for 245 yards and two touchdowns in that game before leaving with an injury.
Athletic director Bryan Blair used Monday's press conference to urge fans to fill the Dome and take an active role in creating a difficult environment for the visiting team. He praised the program's recent effort and described football as vital to Syracuse Athletics' future.
ACC Network brings its pregame show to the Quad
ACC Network's The Huddle will broadcast in front of Hendricks Chapel from 10 a.m. until the noon kickoff Saturday, according to Syracuse's matchup information. Taylor Tannebaum, Eric Mac Lain, Eddie Royal and Jimbo Fisher will host the campus show.
The broadcast will accompany the existing 'Cuse on the Quad activities, with additional games, giveaways and other fan activities. Saturday is Syracuse's final home conference game of the season, as well as Homecoming.
Syracuse is 44-31 in Homecoming games. This will be its 30th conference matchup on Homecoming since joining a league in 1991, across 35 seasons excluding 2020, when there was no Homecoming.

Fran Brown has 11 one-score victories since taking over in 2024, sixth-most nationally during that span, Syracuse reported.
Clemson leads the series 10-3 entering the teams' 12th meeting as league opponents. Syracuse won their first meeting 41-0 in the 1995 Gator Bowl; they then met annually from 2013 through 2023 as ACC Atlantic Division members. Saturday marks their second consecutive season playing since the ACC ended its divisional format.
