Yankees shortstop Dax Kilby and pitcher Chris Veach joined Mets pitchers Irving Cota and Ryan Lambert on the rosters for Sunday's Arizona Fall League Fall Stars Game.

MLB's roster announcement also gives Yankees first baseman Kyle West a chance to earn an American League spot through the Final 2 fan vote, which closes Friday, Nov. 6, at 8 p.m. Eastern.

How to watch Sunday's showcase

The 20th annual Fall Stars Game is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 8, at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick in Arizona. First pitch is at 8 p.m. Eastern, or 6 p.m. local time, with coverage on MLB Network and MLB.com.

Paul Severino, Dan O'Dowd and Jim Callis will call the game. Surprise manager Daniel Robertson will lead the American League team, while Scottsdale manager Rafael Neda will manage the National League roster.

Kilby, the Yankees' No. 1 prospect and No. 78 on MLB Pipeline's overall list, and right-hander Veach are on the AL team. Cota and Lambert, both right-handers in the Mets organization, are on the NL team.

West is competing with Royals prospect Brooks Bryan and Angels prospect Jake Munroe for the AL's remaining fan-selected spot. Fans can cast ballots at MLB.com/AFL.

Ten active Top 100 prospects are selected

The rosters include 10 players on MLB Pipeline's Top 100 list who are expected to play, with six on the AL side and four on the NL side. Two additional Top 100 honorees, Zyhir Hope and Caleb Bonemer, have already left the league and will not play.

Alongside Kilby, the AL's active Top 100 selections are Sebastian Walcott, Arjun Nimmala, Nathan Flewelling, Angeibel Gomez and Ike Irish. The NL group includes Tate Southisene, Aidan Miller, Jarlin Susana and Demetrio Crisantes.

Other selections include Welbyn Francisca, who has a .409 average, .667 slugging percentage and 1.134 OPS, and Padres prospect Alex McCoy, whose five home runs include a ball hit at 118.2 mph. Royals outfielder Zion Rose, the sixth overall pick in the 2026 draft, also earned a roster spot.

Kilby, Cota and Lambert bring strong fall performances

Kilby is batting .295 with a .357 on-base percentage and .623 slugging percentage through 15 Fall League games, with 12 extra-base hits and five steals, according to MLB Pipeline's player breakdown. The 2025 supplemental first-round pick missed much of the minor league season with a hamstring injury. MLB Pipeline highlighted his hitting ability, swing decisions, power and speed.

Cota has struck out 15 and walked three in 12 2/3 relief innings this fall. Signed out of Mexico for $10,000 as a 19-year-old in 2023, he reached Double-A two years later. The right-hander delivers from a low three-quarters arm slot, relying on a 92-95 mph sinker and an 84-86 mph changeup that both move toward his throwing-arm side, according to MLB Pipeline.

Lambert has thrown six scoreless, hitless innings for Surprise, striking out 10 and walking four. Control problems and a right forearm flexor injury slowed his progress during the regular season. His fastball reaches the upper 90s, and he has added a longer slider to complement that pitch and his shorter breaking ball, MLB Pipeline reported.
