Buffalo Sabres fans can claim a free Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich when the team scores an empty-net goal at home this season under a new partnership announced by the team.
The offer will appear in the Chick-fil-A app about 20 minutes after a qualifying goal and must be claimed by 10:30 a.m. the next business day.
Fans must be in the Buffalo area with location services enabled on their device to claim the offer.
Once claimed, the sandwich can be redeemed within three business days through a mobile order or by scanning the app in person at a participating restaurant.
Participating locations are at 1753 Walden Ave. in Cheektowaga, 4942 Transit Road in Depew, 3464 McKinley Parkway in the Hamburg area and 6610 Niagara Falls Blvd. in Niagara Falls.
The promotion applies to empty-net goals scored during Sabres home games, according to the team's announcement.
