A Habitat for Humanity proposal to create a building lot on Foster Street will get a public hearing when the Canandaigua Planning Commission meets Wednesday.
The commission will review five applications, including changes at Maci Roo Pottery and signs for three businesses, according to the meeting agenda. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Hurley Conference Room, 205 Saltonstall St.
Habitat for Humanity is seeking a minor subdivision at 65 Saltonstall St. The proposal would divide the property front to back, creating a new building lot fronting on Foster Street.
The subdivision application is the only item listed for a public hearing. It is scheduled as the second application the commission will review.
Maci Roo Pottery is seeking a historic alteration approval to renovate the rear of its building at 97 S. Main St. The application would modify an approval granted Sept. 9.
Three other historic alteration applications involve business signs along Main Street.
Retina Associates and Refresh Smoothies have separate requests to add a wall sign at 32 N. Main St.
Lilac Optometry is seeking approval to add wall signs at 280 S. Main St.
In addition to the in-person meeting, the city lists a Zoom option and a Finger Lakes Television livestream.
The commission is also scheduled to consider approval of its October meeting minutes before reviewing the applications.
