A proposed Seneca County salary law calling for a 3% increase in the management pay schedule will go before the Government Operations and Administration Committee at a special meeting Nov. 5.
The committee is scheduled to meet at 4 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors room, according to the county's meeting notice.
The agenda includes a resolution to adopt Local Law 2 of 2026, setting 2027 salaries for county public officers and designated senior officials, along with the management and nonbargaining pay schedule.
The proposed management schedule includes a 3% increase and 1.9% steps. The measure is a proposal; the meeting notice does not establish that it has been adopted.
Under the draft, the law would take effect 45 days after adoption, with the salaries applying to the first payroll after Jan. 1, 2027.
